his winter coat, and looks like the biggest, proudest husky you'll ever
see.
The Girls have a snuggle after a nap in the sun. From left: Naya (the
Beta Female), Lakuna (the Alpha Female) and Alyeska. Naya is showing active
submission by nuzzling Lakuna in respect.
St-ret-ch... the puppies get the kinks out of their system after sleeping
away the whole afternoon.
Granite's on the prowl. Looking for food, or looking for trouble? Even
money with Granite.
Alyeska paces beneath the visitor's lookout. Some times she would stop,
look up at up and whine slightly. I never really figured out what she wanted.
Ayooah! Lakuna leads girls in a howl after an ambulance goes by and
they mistake the siren for a rival pack. Sorry about the chainlink fence.
Everyone mobs for good shots when the wolves howl, and I had snap off some
quick shots.
Nap time. The wolves spent more of the afternoon changing places for
a good sleep. Hayden and Granite are on the left, two of the girls are on
the right, and a third is hidden in the logs behind Granite at the top
lefthand corner.
