The Wild Hunt

EMBER
The twelfth chieftess of the Wolfriders, Ember has been chief for about 52 years, 40 of those years spent in the holt at Khulki's Mountain. Forty years ago she was at the center of a vicious love triangle between Teir and Mender, but that has since been resolved, and she and Teir are now lifemates hoping for Recognition and children of their own.

TEIR
The mysterious Plainsdwelling elf of Go-Back ancestor - who now may well be revealed as Kahvi's son, as been a member of the Wolfriders for just over forty years, and has since become lovemate and lifemate to Chieftess Ember. Though he's opened up to Ember, and now hopes to have a cub with her, he still has many demons inside him, now resurfacing with the second appearance of Lehrigen.

YUN
A bit of a beta-female among the Wild Hunt, Yun is one of their best hunters, trackers and scouts. The only known daughter of Skywise has been lovemate to both Teir and Mender, and an occasional thorn in Scouter's side. Shortly after settling in Khulki's Mountain she adopted the human child Khorbasi and raised him as her own.

MENDER
Rainsong and Woodlock's youngest son is the healer of the Wild Hunt, and its most famous flirt - he has gone after Ember, Yun, and even a human girl (in the forthcoming Mender series). He used to get under Teir's skin quite often, but since then appears to get along well with all the members of his tribe.

SCOUTER
The rogue Wolfrider, Scouter's temper still gets him in trouble. He is most famed for his week-long insurrection against Ember, but since has come to accept Ember's leadership. Though Yun seems as good a scout as he, Scouter can still be found up in the trees, on the lookout.

TYLEET
The tanner of the Wild Hunt, and the gentlest of the Wolfriders, Tyleet has settled into a peaceful life as lifemate to Scouter and Dewshine, and as mother to her son Pool. She still has her soft spot for humans, and probably helped Yun in raising Khorbasi.

DEWSHINE
Lifemated to both Scouter and Tyleet, Dewshine continues as the fastest huntress and archer in the Wild Hunt. Though they have lived in relative peace for almost forty years, Dewshine can be counted on to fight should Angrif Djun launch his attack against the elves.

PIKE
Pike continues as the howlkeeper, and it is unknown whether he is still apprenticing Dewshine to assist him. The elder of the tribe at 600+ he tend to keep a low profile, eager for little more than good hunts and howls. He has been teaching his son Sust the ways of both Go-Backs and Wolfriders, raising him up to be quite the hunter.

KRIM
The hotheaded Go-Back still gets under Ember's skin now and then, particularly now that Lehrigen has returned to the Wild Hunt, revealing that he killed Krim's former chief Kahvi. A blunt lifemate and mother, Krim may well defy Ember in an attempt to kill Lehrigen. Trouble appears to be brewing between the Go-Back and the rest of the tribe.

SUST
The youngest of the Wolfriders, Pike, Skot and Krim's son has grown up into a reckless warrior much in the manner of his father Skot. His eagerness for battle and his adventurous spirit has clearly gotten him in a few scrapes with his chief. But that's just his Go-Back ancestry showing itself.

POOL
About 51 years old now, Pool's adoration for Teir has transformed him into a skilled archer. He still feels a close connection to Lehrigen after the Still One saved his life, and he is showing great loyalty and concern for him despite the fact that Lehrigen admits to killing Kahvi.

KHORBASI
Yun found Khorbasi as a small child and brought him into the tribe. Now, thirty years later he is a full member of the Wild Hunt, and frequently helps them scare away humans who venture too close to the Holt's boundaries. He thinks of the tribe as his family, and calls Yun his mother.
