The Go-Back Chiefs

Here's the list of all the known Go-Back chiefs. I've started the Go-Back chronology from the time when Two-Spear disappeared. As with the Wolfriders, I've included known soulnames, children, lifemates and lovemates, and a short summary of the chief's rule, plus my own rating of the chief.


My personal rating chart:  ***** Excellent, a first rate chief who looks after the tribe above all else.
                                                ****   A strong, competent leader.
                                                ***     Fair. Some questionable leadership decisions.
                                                **       A loner. Not the best leader for the tribe.

ICETOOTH
Soulname: Unknown
AKA: Sharf
Parents: Unknown
Lovemate: Huntress Skyfire
Children: None known
He led the offshoot Wolfrider tribe after Two-Spear died or disappeared. He was the one who found and revived Kahvi after her long time in the magical pool.
Death: Killed by an eight-prong buck.
Rating: **** (Made the best of a bad lot)
 
KAHVI
Soulname: Unknown
Parents: Graywolf and Willowgreen
Lovemates: Rayek, Vok, Tyldak
Children: many, including Vaya and Venka
Presumed to be Two-Spear's daughter (though she's probably Graywolf's) she was mortally wounded by Two-Spear after a failed challenge. She was revived by a pool of magic and made chief of the Go-Backs by Icetooth. She reigned for more than 10,000 years.
Death: Killed by Lehrigen, according to EQ SS#2 2001 (I still have my doubts about that, though. She's just too mean to be killed.)
Rating: ** 1/2 (Too much a loner, but the only one who's held the Go-Backs together.)
 

URDA
Soulname: Unknown
Parents: Unknown
Lovemates: None known
Children: Probably quite a few
She was Kahvi's right-hand woman and appointed chief during Kahvi's absences.
Death: Kidnapped by trolls, presumed murdered and eaten.
Rating: **** (Cool and collected.)
 
 

ZEY
Soulname: Unknown
Parents: Unknown
Lovemates: None known
Children: None
A very young chief - probably not much older than thirty or forty. He took over after Urda was taken by trolls, and led the Go-Backs in a war against Kahvi and Sorrow's End.
Death: Killed by Kahvi
Rating: * (Ugh.)
 

MARDU
Soulname: Unknown
Parents: Unknown
Lovemates: Quite a few. Possibly Vok.
Children: At least one unnamed son. Probably many more.
She took over as Kahvi's lieutenant after Urda killed, and led the tribe whenever Kahvi was off on another quest. A lot of the younger Go-Backs saw her as a better chief than Kahvi.
Death: Unknown
Rating: ***** (I really like her!)
 

VENKA
Soulname: Unknown
Parents: Rayek and Kahvi
Lovemate: Zhantee
Children: None yet.
She left the Wolfriders to try and find Kahvi, accompanied by Aroree, Two-Edge, and the newest generation of Go-Backs. She was unwilling at first to be their chief, but by now she's probably accepted the four chief's braids.
Rating: ***** (She's going to make one incredible chieftess!)
